It is another year of Formula One at Sepang. This time, i get to feel the atmosphere of the circuit live although it is only practice sessions today. So, what is my feeling after visiting the Sepang circuit for the first time? Hmmm… I would say, experience once is enough, LOL.
I attended lecture but skipped the tutorial for Public Speaking. Sorry mates for not witnessing you guys interesting demonstrative presentations because Hamilton is “waiting” for me, LOL!! My ‘ji mui’ came and picked me up at my campus with his 2 buddies in the car before 10am, i changed my jeans to jeans skirt as ji mui said it is very, very hot. My pants will go soaky wet… And it was so true! It was freaking hot i tell you! While changing my pants to skirt, i applied sun block on my sexy legs and when i reached there, ji mui brought his sun block and i applied it on my hands and neck. The guys applied on their face, neck and hands. However, i forgot to apply on my foot as i am wearing flats. Now, my foot is dark and my toes are white, *ugly-cute* LOL. Unfortunately, the “Banana Boat” sun block seems not strong enough for the guys as 2 of them had red faces and ji mui said his whole body is very, very hot, like burning… my gawd. The worst thing was, before you get into the entrance, they will check your bags and take away your water bottles and snacks because they want you to spend money on food inside the circuit where only stupid people will buy.
Mineral Water = RM 5.00 = 500ml, a can of coke - RM 5.00, ice cream = RM5.00, satay set RM25.00, (few batang of satay.) burger set with chips = RM 25.00. Gila babi right? I can eat until i vomit at McD.
However, we managed to smuggle our water bottles as ji mui told us earlier, “try to use something to hide our bottles.” It happened i brought my navy blue cardigan along, so i wrapped my bottle with it and when he checked, i pressed on my cardigan to try not to let him touch on it. So, I PASS! The guys, i don’t know what kind of bag that guy carried, his bags has lots of compartments. So he zipped his 2 500ml bottles on the base and before he allowed that person to check, he told him “I open my bag for you, you have no right to touch my bag.” So he opened and only a T-shirt inside! HE PASS! Next, ji mui hid his 1500ml water bottle inside his high tech camera bag. The person thought it was camera inside so he didn’t bother to open it and HE PASS TOO! lol.
I don’t understand why we can’t bring water. It is so hot there and the bloody emcee kept asking us to drink more water, if not you will have dehydration. Yah, as if we don’t know ~ We also know you want us to spend on your “holy water” which cost RM5.00 a bottle and only 500ml, not even 1000ml!
As we stepped into the Sepang circuit, there was a golf mini car approching us to drive us to the main entrance as it took more than 100meters to walk from the entrance to the circuit + under the hot sunny sun. When we were about to sit on it, those rude Malaysians quickly sat on it. Just like Hong Kong drama where you fetch a cab and when the cab is about to stop in front of you, a devil rushes out and sits on the cab. We looked at them in surprised, their actions were so fast, “zig zag and see you…”
So, we have no choice but to work our legs. The feeling of the Sepang circuit was great. It was like as though you were in a foreign country during summer. There were so many foreigners, especially the Whites. Some of the men, Simmie read this… were half naked with their tegap body and some of the ladies wore only their sports bra or lift their spagetti top half, showing off their belly. There were also many Japanese. You can easily recognised them through their dressing and skin tone. I found out that most Japanese are friendly, they really enjoyed themselves.
The sound of the F1 is DEAFENING! When we were about to reach the grandstand. omggg… your ear drums are gonna burst. My ji mui quickly took out the ear plugs and gave it to me and his friend as he has extras. Putting on the ear plugs are much better, just that you cannot talk to your friends but lip reading. When you sit on the seats, you can feel the seats are vibrating like thousands of horses running from far, but this is kereta F1 lah, haha.
During the autograph sessions, we had to queue up and only 20minutes for an autpgraph session by a F1 team drivers. Everybody was queueing up for Lewis Hamilton. The first on stage to sign autograph was Nakajima. His partner Rosberg wasn’t there, maybe he had something to do. These people who queued up in front were not moving at all as they want Hamilton’s. So the emcee called the people behind who wants Nakajima’s signature can rush on stage now before it is timed. So ji mui and I ran, unfortunately, we were too late as 20 minutes had passed. We were stopped. So, the next team was Force India - Fishichella and Sutil. Because we were the first at the line, so we had to go up on stage even though we do not want their signatures. But for me, i don’t mind getting whose autographs, i just want to experience going up on stage and look at the drivers closely. My ji mui was in front of me and when he said “Thank you” to Sutil, he didn’t respond, when i said “Thank you!” he said “Welcome..” HAHAHAHA. Ji mui was so unhappy and complaint to his friends, who were helping us to line up for Hamilton’s autograph, that drivers like female and children. I told him that you have F1 babes to take pics, so its fair, HAHAHA. When the one and only Lewis Hamilton appeared, the fans were screaming, “LEWIS!” “HAMILTON!!” He is so, so, sosoooooooooooooooo friendly, oh my goddd!! He waved to the crowd and stood at the edge of the stage to let us see him clearly and take photos of him and Kovalainen. Then, he started with his autopgraph session. Ji mui and I knew we won’t get his autograph as we were too far behind. The people who went up the stage took too long by talking to Lewis and shook hands…etc. So frust!
Suddenly, we heard “Cut it off, please.” It was from Lewis! He took the mic and told the deejay to turn off the music as he felt annoyed. So he took the opportunity to talk to the crowd while signing. Unfortuantely, i forgotten what he said. I remembered he said something like, “he will try his best here…” and other sweet words. Then, he passed the mic to his partner Kovalainen. There was 1 English boy around 7-8 years old was crying when he was about to let his idol Hamilton to sign. He cried until he was unable to speak and needed to catch some breath. Hamilton was smiling at him, talk to him and pat him. MAnnnn… i wish i am a kid, HAHAHA. The emcee then said, “Humans have lots of emotion, ohh ~ ~ “ After seeing Hamilton who sat less than 50 meters away from me, i love him even more! He is genuine, he has charisma, he is as good looking as in the newspaper and TV. Now i know why Nicole loves him so much! LOL. I just could not take my eyes away from him. =D
We queue up for 2 hours and only managed to get Force India’s drivers’ signatures, haihh… I wish it was Hamilton’s signature, LOL. There were some photographers from different angles taking pictures of those who went up on stage. This is to make the queue go faster. To take the photos captured by them, we had to fill up a form where there was a guy giving forms and we had to present the form to the photo booth to take our pictures by paying RM 15. If it was Hamilton, i will check it out, HAHAHa.
Before Hamilton left, a mother carried her daughter and requested Hamilton to take a picture with her daughter. This lovely man agreed! ohhh ~ ~ I love his smile too! HAHAHAHa.
The circuit is so bigggg… my legs were so tired now. We kept walking and standing as we wanted to take pictures from different stands. I loved the media stand as it is tall and windy. From far, we can see another part of the circuit was raining heavily, another half was cloudy… interesting right?
Although it is FOC today, there were not many people. No jams, no pushing, not crowded. Just that it was too hot and too loud. The seats were very dirty as well. My white tee was a lil black. Maybe it was dust because when i touched the surface of my bag, i can feel sand, yiiii…
After the 2nd practice at 330pm, we left and it was raining. So sorry to dirty ji mui’s handsome Honda Civic, ^^. We stopped at Cheras Steven’s Corner as ji mui and a friend were almost starve to death, haha.
Don’t be surprised to see me look like a Malay girl in campus. Photos will be uploaded on Facebook and some will be posted here by Monday as the photos are with ji mui’s high tech Nikon camera. Ha! i am so sleepyyyyy now. Thanks to my ‘ji mui’ for making my adrenalin alive a little, lol. My legs and eyes need a rest, Night!
