It is Pat Yuet Sap Erm!
Happy Mid-Autumn Festival or Happy Mooncake Festival to all of you who are reading this! Have you bought your favourite green bean, red bean, chocolate, peanut…etc moon cakes? Don’t forget your Chinese tea as well, lol.
Three days before this festival, my mum already bought green bean moon cakes and I’ve already celebrated my Mid-Autumn festival two days ago. Well, blame it on my mum, she can’t resist the moon cake being displayed on the dining table, Ha! This morning, mum already made ‘tang yuan’ – a white round dessert made of flour with banana or garlic soup. Later at night, dad bought a box of moon cake. Besides having different flavours of moon cakes, there are several designs of moon cakes as well. People are getting very creative these days…That box of moon cake is not the normal moon cake with dark brown skin and words in the middle. It is light brown and spiral type. The flavour? I don’t know yet and it is not written on the box. Dad also bought the normal type of moon cake which is red bean filling. Ahhhh… can’t wait to eat them! Lol.
Due to this auspicious day, dad and elder brother came back early to have dinner. Usually, there are only three of us eating – mum, younger brother and I. When I thought we could finally have dinner together, my elder brother suddenly told my mum he is not eating. Mum was really angry because she had cooked his share. Like my cousin sister said, my elder brother doesn’t know how to be a loveable son. He always makes my parents dislike him. On the other hand, his friends love him very much because he places them as number one on his list. To him, friends always come first. What a naïve dumb ass 22-year-old guy. -,-
While we were having dinner, dad once again talked about our childhood behaviour. Well, it shouldn’t be OUR but MY childhood behaviour. Yes, MY CHILDHOOD BEHAVIOUR! In my earliest post on “My Childhood Games”, I’ve already mentioned that I am a cry baby and had sarky attitude. So, dad recalled the lantern incident by saying that I wanted my brothers’ lanterns even though I already had one on my hand. Both my brothers’ lanterns were fishes – gold fish and red fish. While my lantern is a pink, blue swan which was burnt into a roasted swan when I left it unattended and the candle fell because of strong wind. Hmm… I seriously cannot remember that incident and kept denying it, “Where got? Don’t have lah.” (I love my pink swan than their sui yu).My mum also said I didn’t act like that but my dad insisted that I DID! Grrr… So I showed a piss looking face because he always talks about my sarky attitude even to my relatives. I usually smile away but this one, he is accusing me, I am not going to admit, hm! Haha. I am pretty sure when I bring my future boyfriend home, he will surely tells him my attitude, how small minded, stubborn, hot tempered I am when I was a girl as these are the “proudest” happenings in my life.
Besides talking about ‘swan and fish’, my younger brother told my mum that the girl he gave tuition to scored A2 for her physics, from C6 to A2! I am happy for her, I hope it is not because of the leakage of the question paper which helps her to score an A. The Education Ministry seriously have to do something to stop all these bocor. Even the not so smart students can score As for some of the papers which are difficult for them to even get a D! Best of luck to their SPM next month.
Back to the my younger bro’s ‘student’, she said she will treat my brother a meal if she manages to score an A for Physics but of course as a teacher and also a gentleman, my bro rejected her offer. My brother and her reminded me of a Taiwanese drama >. Well, if any one of you watched this drama before of course I am not referring to the main actor and actress. Instead, I am referring to the brother of the main actor where the boy is very intelligent and arrogant. He only mix with the A Class students. However, a girl from F Class likes him very much and the main actress supports her to go ahead and forced the boy to give her home tuition so that they can spend more time to see each other, HA!
Well, my brother is slightly different from him. He is intelligent but not arrogant. He has a lot of B-F Classes friends, haha! The girl came to my house twice before their trial exam begins. The first time she came, she had missed the bus stop where she supposed to get down. Thus, she travelled back to Wangsa Maju LRT station, lol, poor girl. My brother gave her tuition from 12pm – 6pm, faint. This petite girl loves to bake. She requested my mum to teach her bake pineapple cookies and cornflake cookies. There was once she gave a piece of cheese cake to my mum and it tastes really good! After eating it, my mum gave me a “lecture” – “Look, a 17-year-old girl can already bake a cheese cake for me, a coming to 21-year-old is still like a soh poh…”And I went “Yayaya… (Here she goes again…sigh)”
To clarify, the girl is not my lil bro’s girlfriend, LOL. My bro already had a gothic girlfriend. I seriously don’t know why my bro likes a GOTHIC! They were together for 3 years already, very long right? I dislike her when I saw her photos. That time, she was 15 years old and she already applied heavy make up on her eyes with all kinds of colours and doing 1-10 poses… all my freaking gawddddd… I am very annoyed with girls trying to act cute, especially doing that 1, 2, 5, 3, 8 finger poses. Instead I prefer this petite girl to be my lil bro’s girlfriend, she is more normal and very bubbly. I love the way she giggles. Because she comes from a not very well off family, my mum asked me to give away my clothes to her since I have no place to keep them. Of course my bro did ask her whether she would like to take my old clothes and OF COURSE I won’t give her my faded clothes. Those are still consider new clothes, I wore them less than 10 times and some are new. Yes, I love to waste money on clothes… I know that. Remember what my dad said earlier – “I want everything!”
Actually, it is not only me who dislike his gothic girlfriend, even my elder bro’s friend who accidentally bumped into them at Times Square was shocked and dropped his jaw. Hahaha. My mum said that their relationship will not last long as they are only 17 years old now, lol. I HOPE!
Oh by the way, I had just eaten the moon cakes and the spiral type moon cake is yam. I don’t really like it.. erm.
HAPPY MOONCAKE FESTIVAL once again! LOOK! The moon is really round!
