Days

Yesterday - Happy Father’s Day to all the wonderful daddies around the world!

My mum had planned to order bak kut teh for dinner because my dad loves bak kut teh very much! He will be slurping the soup loudly, dipping the meat with slices of chilies and sucking the pai kuat. While I will be slurping the soup and eating tofu.

I planned to buy a cartoon of 100 plus can drinks together with my brothers for my dad as he will always grab a can of cold 100 plus after golf practice. My mum disagreed. She said it is unhealthy. So she helped us to buy two shorts for him as his golf shorts are too old and faded.

The bak kut teh surprise dinner did not happen because my dad is not coming back for dinner. So, we had bihun soup instead. Once again, I represented my siblings to give my dad the father’s day gift and I am the only one who wished him Happy Father’s Day all these years! The boys, sigh… just looked at the computer screen. That’s why my dad talks to me most, bwahahaha!

Yesterday - Badminton Indonesia Open final. Malaysia had two events in the final which were the Men’s singles and Women’s doubles. The most emotional moment was the Women’s singles where the 19 years old Saina Nehwal from India beat the 20 years old Wang Lin of China. Saina created history for India to win a Super Series title. Who would have thought India could beat the mighty China! China also falls in the Women’s doubles and Men’s doubles to Malaysia and Korea respectively. It was a gloomy day for the China team as they were only winner for the Mixed doubles event. Let me help China’s head coach Mr. Li to rephrase his sentence, “China is invincible!” Although the Indonesian spectators kept booing Malaysian players due to political issues, Pei Tty-Ee Hui and Chong Wei were not disturbed and managed to win USD 18,750. Chong Wei beat Taufik Hidayat who is the 6 times Indonesia Open champion.

Yesterday and the day before – Drove my elder bro to the LRT Station and younger bro back from school with mum sitting beside me. I supposed to get a 100% for my driving, but when I am about to turn into the last junction of my house, a car suddenly rushed out and I had to swing the steering and made contact with the hibiscus torns which scratch my mum’s car a little. Sigh, stupid neighbour… My mum was praising me before we reached home saying that I can drive alone, but she took back her words, saying that I need to drive more often to get use to the steering.-.-

Today - Mum’s birthday!

Tuesday – Dreamweaver day.

Wednesday – Transformer Day!… and meeting Ms Yoges, sigh.

Thursday and Friday – Prepare agenda and Chapter 5.

Saturday – Boring Online Journalism lecture.

Sunday – Edit project paper.
