Days

Yesterday - Happy Father’s Day to all the wonderful daddies around the world!

My mum had planned to order bak kut teh for dinner because my dad loves bak kut teh very much! He will be slurping the soup loudly, dipping the meat with slices of chilies and sucking the pai kuat. While I will be slurping the soup and eating tofu.

I planned to buy a cartoon of 100 plus can drinks together with my brothers for my dad as he will always grab a can of cold 100 plus after golf practice. My mum disagreed. She said it is unhealthy. So she helped us to buy two shorts for him as his golf shorts are too old and faded.

The bak kut teh surprise dinner did not happen because my dad is not coming back for dinner. So, we had bihun soup instead. Once again, I represented my siblings to give my dad the father’s day gift and I am the only one who wished him Happy Father’s Day all these years! The boys, sigh… just looked at the computer screen. That’s why my dad talks to me most, bwahahaha!

Yesterday - Badminton Indonesia Open final. Malaysia had two events in the final which were the Men’s singles and Women’s doubles. The most emotional moment was the Women’s singles where the 19 years old Saina Nehwal from India beat the 20 years old Wang Lin of China. Saina created history for India to win a Super Series title. Who would have thought India could beat the mighty China! China also falls in the Women’s doubles and Men’s doubles to Malaysia and Korea respectively. It was a gloomy day for the China team as they were only winner for the Mixed doubles event. Let me help China’s head coach Mr. Li to rephrase his sentence, “China is invincible!” Although the Indonesian spectators kept booing Malaysian players due to political issues, Pei Tty-Ee Hui and Chong Wei were not disturbed and managed to win USD 18,750. Chong Wei beat Taufik Hidayat who is the 6 times Indonesia Open champion.

Yesterday and the day before – Drove my elder bro to the LRT Station and younger bro back from school with mum sitting beside me. I supposed to get a 100% for my driving, but when I am about to turn into the last junction of my house, a car suddenly rushed out and I had to swing the steering and made contact with the hibiscus torns which scratch my mum’s car a little. Sigh, stupid neighbour… My mum was praising me before we reached home saying that I can drive alone, but she took back her words, saying that I need to drive more often to get use to the steering.-.-

Today - Mum’s birthday!

Tuesday – Dreamweaver day.

Wednesday – Transformer Day!… and meeting Ms Yoges, sigh.

Thursday and Friday – Prepare agenda and Chapter 5.

Saturday – Boring Online Journalism lecture.

Sunday – Edit project paper.

Your Shyt Face!

Many of my friends have complaint that UTAR management is very rude and always black face. Well, so far, no such things happen to me until Tuesday. I went to PA block to collect my foundation certificate. I do not know where to collect it because PA changed a lot. There are a lot of corridors and many departments. The signage was quite poor or maybe I am poor in reading the signs. So I went to the finance department and she told me to go straight until the glass door, turn left, go straight, turn right, turn right… left, right, left, right. *faint* I was actually lost and confused when she was directing me half way but well, I tried to act smart so I said “OKAY, THANK YOU! *smile*” As I walked to the glass door, I turned to my left and that was it! I am lost! I went to the science laboratory instead and saw many young scientists. In the end, I called Sutanium as she collected hers since last year. She told me there is a water cooler. However, there are two water coolers! So I beg her to come over and guide me there since she is going to walk pass the building.

Sutanium lead me to the Examination and Award Department. The corridor was so quiet and scary. It looks like a clinic. So, this man came up to me and I told him that I want to collect my foundation certificate and gave him my foundation identity card. He gave me a big white envelope and when I sign everything, I opened it to check my name. Sutanium was curious as she did not receive an envelope. She then said, she collected the transcript and not the certificate. So I went back there, “Excuse me.” That man served me again, I told him, “Can I have the transcript?” You know what he said! He is so freaking arrogant! “Just now you said you want the foundation certificate?” I was so shocked with his answer and said, “I want both!” So, he gave me that shyt face like I don’t know how to speak English and he knows! I know that some TAR college and university lecturers and management said that most of the students don’t know how to speak English! But for me, I don’t know there is a cert and transcript! Why can’t they just file everything together and when we collect, just give us the big white envelope lah BODOH! Macam ni pun nak ajar kah?! Mangkuk! I will never forget his shyt face although I still say, “okay, sorry and thank you” *biting my teeth and smile*. I have better attitude unlike him, speak that little bit of English and his nose is getting higher…

Sometimes, I don’t understand why these people can’t put on a smiley face and be friendly. Maybe that was why they are suitable to do such job, hiding behind the screen or wall, facing the computer and showing their cool attitude only to the students. Yalah, sangat bergaya lah, ada attitude.

Thank God Dreamweaver tutorial enlightened me, it was interesting and now I realize that I like doing creativity works than language. Well, actually I already had that in mind but my parents didn’t realize it, sigh. I should be studying art and not stuck here studying something which don’t interest me. Whatever I regret now, it is too late, I only need to struggle for 4 months and that’s it – No direction on what I want to do! I wish I get to own a shop at a crowded shopping mall. I want to have my own business! *Just let me dream on…*

Before I end this post, I nearly puke together with my dog. My Mac Mac has vomited 5 times today. The last 3 times, he gave me the signal that he is going to vomit, so I quickly hold the bowl towards his mouth and when he vomited, oh my god… stinks! It is brownish, whitish and yellowish. I nearly vomited and I feel like vomiting right now too. *geli*

Cousin Brother and Aunt’s Weekend Visit

They were already at home in JB. It was the first time my cousin brother stayed in my house after his last visit 10 years + ago. They came here by plane as my aunt has to give a talk about Amway. She is doing very successful in this business but my dad is the opposite, sigh. Their flight had landed at 10am on Sunday and I was doing last minute room cleaning at that time. Trying to provide them with 5 stars liked hotel or maybe higher stars as this hotel has teddy bears, more pillows, a queen and single bed and English Rose fragrance. It smells like you are sleeping in Lovely Lace!

My aunt called my dad at around 930pm saying that they were on their way to my house. At 10pm, my cousin brother text me saying (conversation being paraphrased):-

X: Waiting for me?

S: Yala! Where are you huh? Lost your way? Lol.

X: We are staying at a hotel near KLIA, sorry.

S: Oh? So you mean you are not coming over?

X: Yah, sorry.

S: Nevermind, since you are leaving the next day, staying near KLIA is much more convenient because it took around 2-3 hours to the airport from my house. *smiley*

X: But I know you miss me and I miss you too! I persuaded my mum to stay at your house but she doesn’t want.

S: Hahaha, it is okay. We meet in our dreams! Haha.

X: *showing some disappointed expression*

Before his last message to me, I told my parents that they had decided to stay in a hotel near KLIA. My dad was confused, “Eh? San gu just called me telling me she is on the way?” Mum then said, “Well, it is so late already, maybe their flight is in the morning tomorrow.” My mum then locked the main gate prepared to go to bed as school holiday is over. My dad wanted to call her sister to reconfirm, but he was munching something in his mouth. As I wanted to reply my cousin brother, guess what?!

A car parked in front of my house. I thought it was my brother’s friend so I did not bother. But when I heard the car doors were slammed 4-5 times, I peeped to see who they were. OMG! I saw my cousin brother! Shytttt… My parents were still chilling in the living room watching “Beautiful Cooking”. I told them, “Hey, it’s them. He lied to me!!” I gave my cousin brother a whack on the shoulder *piak* when he came in. He made me so embarrass! My mum asked, “Eh? I thought you said you decided to stay at a hotel near KLIA?” My aunt was totally blurred with question marks all over her head. My cousin brother was smiling cutely there. So I had to say, “HE LIED TO ME!!” Grrrr… They were all laughing loudly and my mum told him, “Hey, this is not funny okay? We nearly move our things back to normal”. He laughed,“Really??” *duhhh… -.-*

I was chit chatting with my cousin sister on MSN at that time. Then, my cousin brother came into the room, so I told him, “our cousin sister, MJ”. He took over the conversation and fooled her. Till the end of the conversation, she still had no idea who she was talking to during that 2 hours conversation. He came over to my house to work as my “private secretary”, helping me to reply messages when some of my friends msn me at that time, but I had to apologise to them when he said something stupart, lol.

While chatting with MJ, she suddenly told me that grandmother is not feeling well as she has stomach pain. Sigh, I hope she is fine as she is staying alone. After that, my stupid cousin brother frightened me, shyt him… -.-

Just now, he blackmailed me. He said he has my sleeping photos! I don’t quite believe it, hahaha. I believe he is a very bermoral typed of person; hopefully he doesn’t disappoint me,

My aunt on the other hand, taught me how to do this Amway business as my dad has some down lines in Singapore but he doesn’t care. So she hopes I can takeover after my studies. She also demos some Artistry facial products where those products were actually for my elder brother but he did not use. He will only use them when he wants to tackle a girl… So she taught me how to apply them.

Although this cousin bro of mine did a lot of childish acts in less than 12 hours in my house, he is actually a very mature person. He gave me a lot of valuable opinions and creative ideas for my assignments. This is what a guy should be! My elder brother should act like him, MATURE! I need a knowledgeable elder brother who can teach me and make me look up at him! Not looking up at his transformers!

Well, actually my cousin brother came here is to be his mum’s personal assistant. Carrying all her luggage and finding some stuff his mother commanded him, hahaha. I am glad that he said he likes and felt comfortable staying here. He is my closest and now my favourite cousin brother. Sorry Sherman Lee, you have to be my number 2 favourite cousin brother now, Hahaha.

What I did during my sem break…

It is finally over! It’s already a month and my first lesson starts tomorrow in the afternoon at 2pm. However, I haven’t decided on whether to attend because I don’t miss Mr. Paul! Argh… why is Mr. Paul teaching us again? I am bored of listening to his “IT’S FOR YOU TO FIND OUT…” Although most of us giggled when he said that during our previous subject he had taught us, but speaking the same phrase almost in every lesson, goshhh… what the hell?!?! I hope he creates another phrase this time. Something like, “I WILL FIND IT OUT FOR YOU…” maybe??? (Well, that will not happen…)

Alright, while waiting for my friends to reply my question regarding on whether they are going for Paul’s lecture tomorrow, let me recall what I did during my sem break. Well, it is basically planting ‘mushrooms’ at home most of the time. My life is really boring, sigh…

Facebook is my best friend during the holiday. I spent most of my time with it, playing some childish games my babi friend said, hahaha! Currently, I am into Restaurant City. Pet Society is already out of my gaming list. I think ‘my pet’ Buddy is dying of hunger and poo poo around the house. I also browsed through many of my friends’ photos which I didn’t have time to see them before my holiday. I only visit Friendster when I want to blog. Besides, I also found out many of my old friends are promoting their blogs through Friendster or msn. This helps me to kill time…

The meaningful stuff I did during the break was helping out for Orientation May Intake on 25th and 26ht. There are a lot of changes in PD block, more classrooms and the cafeteria serves a variety of food. But that has nothing to do with me, hahaha! Besides that, I packed all my notes on the last week of May and helped my mum to wipe all the dust and dirt on the cabinets and doors. An hour after finishing those wiping, my hands went itchy for touching the liquid, she now owe me a bottle of hand lotion, LOL! Well, she actually bought a hand lotion even before I did the wiping and I love it very much because of the fragrance.

On mid-May, I went out with my primary to high school buddy to Times Square for SHOPPING! We bought a lot of clothes and shorts. But I think I am more giler as I didn’t go shopping since last year December. We were there for nearly 4 hours and there were many shops we haven’t visited yet but we gotta go to avoid the rush hour. This buddy of mine is a big fan of David Beckham when she was in form 1. That time, I was a big fan of Westlife as I don’t watch football. Until now, I am so surprise that she is still a Beckham die-hard-fan. She still thinks he is good looking, Hahaha.

I didn’t change any hairstyles during this semester break, still keeping to my straight and bang hairstyle. I used to change different hairstyles during a semester break, Sharz reminded me of that when he asked me on msn, “So, what hairstyle are you going to change this time?” Deng, so damn sarcastic lah he, hahaha. I was a curly hair girl, then straight hair then bangs, finally the most shocking hairstyle was cut short my hair. I am keeping my hair long now. Wondering are there any shampoos or supplements that help to grow hair faster without hair extension? Although I didn’t change my hairstyle this time, but I changed my glasses! The frame is bigger and it is black in colour. My mum changes hers too - a red semi-frame glasses, she looks so young and trendy now! Lol. She is trying to hide her age bah!

Furthermore, I spared an hour to work out everyday because I know I will gain weight when I am at home. My mum is very scared of us getting hungry. Recently, she is learning to make Garlic bread, so we had garlic bread for breakfast the past 3 days and she will asked our opinions like which day is more delicious. For the past 3 days, my mouth smells garlic, it is so difficult to get rid of the smell. But I really love garlic bread! I also helped my mum to make pineapple cookies. We used a wooden long spoon to beat the butter and flour because my mum doesn’t trust the machine as she spoiled 2 of them. We took turn to beat the butter and my left arm was sore after beating for half an hour, lol.

I also watched American dramas like 90210 and Knight Rider. TVB dramas alone are not enough to kill my time, lol. You know what, I even read novels last two days! I finished 2 novels in 2 days! That was because the novels that I bought recently are interesting. It is the Princess Diaries series, around 260-290 pages for each series. I bought series 7 -9 but I couldn’t finish series 9 today as I slept at 4am to finish series 8 this morning. So, I felt very tired the whole day even though I slept until 11am.

Because of my tiredness, I lost my appetite and don’t feel like opening my mouth and talk. My mum was so excited talking about her new spectacles, I was like a zombie, “ohh… hehe…” Wait, zombie doesn’t talk and smile! I ate biscuits for brunch and tofu, fish, mango and ice cream for dinner. The ice cream puts a smile on my face, I really freaking love ice cream! My mum bought a new flavor called the… Fruity Totttt…ty? Okay, whatever fruit is that, it tastes like fruit cake from King’s ice cream. There are small fruits buried with vanilla ice cream and when you put inside your mouth, Goshhhh! The first word I said was “Walaoweih! Nice!” My mum seeing my exaggerated expression, she can’t help but open the freezer and scoop a cup. Yes, i know I make my mum fat, haha.

A bizarre happening during my holiday was somebody I didn’t communicate before during school years actually asked me out. However, I turned down the invitation because I think it was awkward going out with somebody you don’t really know and what topic to talk to.

I also did illegal activity during my holiday which was downloading songs, hehe. I downloaded Fish Leong, Daughtry, Beyonce, LeeHom, David Cook, David Archuleta and etc. Yesterday, I downloaded Kris Allen’s “No Boundaries” and I think that song is more suitable for ladies because it was mostly in high notes. I am not anti Kris Allen okay, although he beats my Adam Lambert, Hahaha.

And oh! I also did my Final Year Project during the holiday but not much, I am so gonna die when I meet my supervisor. I have this lazy disease when it comes to FYP. Sigh…

Before I end this post, I have decided to go for Paul’s class after being persuaded by Sutanium that how important is Paul’s lesson gonna be. Since there is UTAR bus to pick me up and send me back to the LRT station, that’s fine, I will go because I don’t want to grow ‘mushrooms’ anymore!! So, see you all tomorrow in the afternoon!
